A protest in the Saudi Eastern province town of Awamiyah is currently taking place. The rally is in solidarity with Muhammad Az-Zinadi, an opposition activist who has been injured and arrested following clashes with security forces last week.

- A similar protest under the same banner will take place tomorrow, March 29, in the village of Saihat, at 20:00 local time. The march will take place along the village’s Mekkah’s Street.
- On Friday, March 30, another event will take place in Qatif at 16:00 local time, at the town’s Maias Souq (Market).
