Q – If I have done a PSD course and I’ve just finished a tour in Iraq and about to

finish the army. Does this course can help me to integrate my self, to the field

of security at the business and private sector in the world?

A – Indeed there is a difference between the PSD work and the Close/Executive

protection work. An agent in the High risk zone of PSD, operates very

differently from what the Close/Executive protection agent operates in

public or private sector and area (with out relating to the personal risk factor

of the VIP). It comes from 3 main reasons:

1. From the adversary point of view and his opportunities and means of an

attack.

2. The expectation of the VIP from the service he as acquired. Which always

reflects strongly on the nature of the relationship between the Agent and

the VIP.

3. The difference in the filed of operation between the Executives/Close

protection service area to the PSD (Combat / War environment) service

area.

The course touches these exact subjects as well, because we know that at

the end of it, the Executive / close protection agent is providing a service,

and this service should fit the market perfectly and not to a different

environment.
