Executive Protection Case Study

International Software Company

A large international software company needs executive protection for an employee arriving from key international company offices.

1.       Together with the corporation’s security management executive, Max defines the level of security needed for every executive in the corporation by rank.

2.       Before each guest arrives in Israel, Max Security receives a timetable and meeting roster, and coordinates all the details of the visit with the host company. In most cases, Max helps the host make all the arrangements for the guests’ stay, including meeting places, access to government offices, restaurants, and even tours within the country, now a standard part of every VIP visit.

The client decides which security services are needed based upon Max’s professional advice. Services are provided based on the client personnel level.

A. Junior Personnel

·   An executive protection security officer meets the travelers at the airport and accompanies them from the terminal to Max’s vehicles.

·   The visitors are driven to the first destination, such as a hotel or the client’s offices.

·   En route, the guests receive a security briefing on current conditions in Israel and emergency contact procedures for the Max operations center, which is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

B. Senior Management/VIPs

Max Security organizes every detail of the visit, including logistics, transportation and accommodations, and coordinates all meetings (even to the Head of State level), restaurant stops, and tours throughout the country.

1.       Max Security personnel meet executives as they leave their commercial or private plane.

2.       Max Security personnel accompany the executives through all airport arrival procedures and into the company vehicle.

3.       A lead vehicle and an executive protection agent are dispatched to carry out advance   security procedures in preparation for the corporate executives’ arrival at each destination.

The objectives of the advance security review are to:

·   Perform a security sweep of the area

·   Logistically prepare the area for a smooth and rapid arrival, to avoid delays or hassleswith security checks, etc.

·   Coordinate with meeting attendees to ensure an easy arrival and to maintain an on-time schedule

4.       A security team (whose size is determined by delegation size and the level of threat) accompanies the VIPs.
