Our 2012 Executive Protection course comprises of the following modules:
Week 1 – Firearms familiarization, security training and introduction to Executive Protection
- Knowing your weapon – disassembling and reassembling
- Weapon safety and security: carrying, gripping and using
- Ballistics fundamentals – internal, external and final ballistics
- Gripping and aiming: one-handed and two-handed
- Drawing and cocking: one-handed and two-handed
- Running and tactical halting techniques
- Clearing a weapon stoppage under pressure
- Firing from behind cover
- Reaction scenario’s – real time decision-making
- Choosing the right path under fire
- Defining real time priorities
- Taking the initiative: how to gain the crucial tactical advantage during a confrontation
- Hand-to-hand combat (Krav Maga for EP)
- Principles of Close Quarter Battle
- Tactical First Aid
- Introduction to tactical pronciples of Executive Protection
Week 2 – Executive Protection Operational training
- Securing client in all situations – while walking, at the client’s home, while attending public events, while driving, etc.
- Working in pairs – the partner approach
- Tactical First Aid
- Myriad of tactical drills covering both routine and emergency scenario’s
- Advanced firearm drills (EP related)
- Advanced Krav Maga for EP
Week 3 – Executive Protection Operational training
- Threat assessment and vulnerability analysis
- The adversary’s Modus Operandi
- The managerial advance and planning an EP assignment
- The operational advance
- Securing the area prior to arrival
- Searching for and managing explosives and suspicious objects
- Planning emergency evacuations and readying escape routes
- Liaison with third parties
- Etc.
- Tactical First Aid
- Code of behavior with clients: do’s and don’ts
- Relevant equipment for the EP professional
- Myriad of tactical drills covering both routine and emergency scenario’s
Who should attend??
The course is designed for highly motivated, sharp-minded individuals, early in their careers or experienced, and in good physical shape. The course is suited for members of both the private and the governmental sectors and is open to both males and females.
What are the prerequisites??
- English – The course will be taught in English
- No prior weapons experience is neccessary
- Good physical fitness (see administrative details)
- Must be over 21 years old
- Clean police record
- Ability to travel to Israel (valid passport, visa, etc.)
Cost: US$ 8680
Cost Includes:
- Accommodation for the duration of the course
- Up to 4 per room sharing
