First Aid Course for Close Protection Agent

Our advanced First-Aid course, will provide you with the understanding how to combine personal security with Emergency Medical Assistance.

The course goals are to provide you with:

• Supplying the needed medical expertise, to lead and to manage a full close protection operation.

• Providing the ability for medical decision making during emergency situation.

• Providing the CP agent with added value of being an agent who is also qualified with medical abilities, which can assure his client's safety and confidence.

In Max Security we believe that a good CP agent is not just about his protective ability (which is very important for the client's physical assurance), but also about the client's feeling of safety assurance. Occasionally operation might end with the need to lead a medical scenario (simple or complicated one) and supply medical assistance in any case of emergency.

These qualifications require perfect planning ability, knowledge of tasks location and environment, while keeping on imperturbability. Often, the medical scenario is the most complex one in the security field and when needed, supplying it appropriately, will win the client's impression and gratitude.

A medical intervention can occur after; an attempt to harm the client (stabbing, shooting, bomb blast...), after medical emergency situation which the client suffers from (a heart attack, respiratory problem, acute brain attack...) or other simpler symptoms of health deterioration.

The tools and knowledge we will provide you can make the difference between your client life and death. Our Instructors are veterans of the Israeli Special Forces who are also active paramedics in field operations at their units.

The course contains the following topics: (each subject will include theoretical and practical training with relation to security scenarios while using advance practice equipment).

1. Medical Management and Preparation for security operation:

a. Preparing medical equipment and bags.

b. evacuation possibilities (vehicles, helicopter, others).

c. Evacuation to Hospitals.

d. Medical report to hospital.

2. The Human body Organs and systems.

3. CPR: Cardio- Pulmonary resuscitation protocol.

4. Hitting Mechanism and Trauma Protocol:

            a. Head injuries.

            b. Chest and Stomach injuries.

            c. Pelvis and limbs injuries

            d. Shock injuries.

            e. Fractures and burn injuries.

5. Multiple injured arena.

6. Daily health scenarios and their treatment. (Dehydration, Blood pressure drop,       

    Nausea...)

7. Securing injured client/VIP and preparing for evacuation.

*In all subjects we will practice real time scenarios from the security environment.

The course is designed for highly motivated, sharp-minded individuals who would like to enhance their knowledge and to provide and added value to their service of Close Protection. Also the course is aimed to those who wish to learn the aspect of the emergency medical assistance alone.

What are the prerequisites?

• Basic English - The course will be taught in very basic English
• Good physical fitness (see administrative details)
• Must be over 21 years old
• Clean police record
• Ability to travel to Israel (valid passport, visa, etc.)
